Another tough day out against the wind and in the hills. It was good to see some old faces return to have a ride as in Joel and Dean Bartlett. Wayne had set a tough task by putting himself, Mitch Carrington and Steve Murray of scratch 3 Min Behind Toby Maher and Peter schulz and 20 min behind Spencer Herd. It was tough but the limit riders where slowly getting picked up over the 45km coarse. Spence held everyone off until the last hill to the finish with young Toby grabbing the win and the Trophy for 2010. Spencer got second with Peter Schulz 3rd.

Mitch Carrington has placed 3rd in the Mount Yarrowyck Road Race. He had been set off on block and was rounded up just past half way. he stayed with the scratchies and kept up the pace to spread out the large bunch coming into the finish. Alex and Emily Nichols and Matt Carrington also had a race and all did well in there respectives. Matt Carrington placed 3rd in the 20km race a great effort.

Armidale a close second in thrilling festival criterium

Trials for the Squad will be held in Armidale on the 21st of March coinciding with an Armidale Cycling Club Day. Club Championships crit date set for 7th March 2010 was cancelled due to a wet track.

The event will be held on the 14th of March 2010. Best of luck.
